Is it safe for children about 7 years old to use bleaching soap?

My kid just finished swimming lessons this summer and in the Philippines pools are usually outdoor so automatically she got sunburns and made her skin so dark even i tried to put on sunscreen lotions on her face and body every time she starts swimming. I am planning to let her use bleaching soap? So is it safe? If yes what kind or brand? When to start?

No its not safe, just let her skin go back to back to normal naturally. I have heard those soaps can cause cancer.

What kind of oil blotters could I use on my face that won’t take my makeup off?

My face gets oily during the day. What kind of oil blotter could I use to blot my face during the day. One that won’t take my makeup off because I don’t want to keep applying makeup all day. Any other suggestions on how I can keep my face from getting oily?

I know that the Body Shop sells oil blotting sheets that have a fine powder on them so that when they take off the excess grease it leaves the powder to help with the shine.
However, these sheets will not relieve your oily skin. These oils are secreted by your skin because your body feels that it is needed. By taking off the oily residue with these sheets your body will secrete more.
It may be that your face is dry and your skin is trying to relieve itself. Try a light oil-free moisturizer. If you don’t use one everyday I suggest getting one for day and night.
Also, use an oil-free cleanser. Cleaning your face will help get rid off excess oil and will not leave any behind. Do not wash your face too much. Every morning and night should be okay. Begin my washing your face with warm water to open your pores and finish with ice cold. This will close the pores and give your face a nice, non oily glow. I don’t suggest getting anit- shine products because I feel they add more shine. ( Avene has one and it made my oily skin a lot worse)
Don’t wear too much makeup. Let your skin breath. If you are embarassed with the shine you can try a loose powder on your face. It is light and will get rid of the shine.

timewise miracle set!?

i bought the timewise miracle set from mary kay but im breaking out! i bought the normal/dry set but maybe i should have bought the combo/oily set. what should i do?

I bought the exact same thing several months ago and the same thing happened to me when I first started using it. The breakouts did stop after two weeks or so. I definitely have dry skin, but it still made me break out.

I was unhappy with this product line – it’s overly expensive first of all. While my skin did look good and feel soft (after the breakouts went away), it wasn’t phenomenal and I’ve since found other products that last longer that make my skin look MUCH better than the TimeWise line ever did.

What I use now: The Body Shop Vitamin C and Vitamin E lines for face care (Vitamin E day cream, night cream, and eye gel; Vitamin C exfoliator). I also use Clinique SuperFit foundation. No breakouts whatsoever now and my skin looks much more radiant than it ever did with Mary Kay products.

BTW: I’ve noticed that Oil of Olay makes a face cleanser that looks, feels, and smells exactly the same as the TimeWise cleanser. I used this right after I ran out of the MK cleanser.

I have the Proactiv Cleanser and Proactiv toner but not the repairing lotion have a question about this?

I do have the Proactiv Cleanser and Toner but ran out of the repairing lotion. I bought some acne free repairing lotion. I was wondering can I use that Repairing Lotion. I will not be recieving my repairing lotion from Proactiv for about 3 to 4 weeks. I still want to use the three step program but I want to use the cleanser from Proactiv and the toner from Proactiv. Does anyone know if that is alright. Does Proactiv’s repairing lotion have the same ingredients as acne free repairing lotion. Please let me know what I should do. I like Proactiv very much and don’t plan to switch to acne free just need a repairing lotion to hold me up till my proactiv repairing lotion comes in.

well different products may carry different levels of the ingredients… i would not use another repairing lotion b/c each step is meant to compliment the other soo just wait for the Proactiv lotion to arrive.
but it all depends on you if your skin feels dry than use the other name brand

they absolutely can be used together!! i have been using proactiv for years and since i have been using a microdermabrasion cloth 4 times a week i have much better results. my skin is much smoother and much more clear. use the entire proactive kit in the morning, and then use the cloth at night a few times a week, and always use tea tree oil on your face at night. i promise you’ll thank me!!
