i have really oily skin, not so much during the winter, but magazines always suggest gel cleansers, do i really need a gel cleanser, i want to get something that will be gentle but still effective, what do you suggest?
wat about cetaphil or basis are those any good?

I have oily skin too, and I’ve found that gels can actually be drying and make my skin feel tight. Cetaphil, which you asked about, is actually a really great mild general cleanser. It’s never made me more oily, never made me break out, and never made my skin feel tight.

Bottom line is you do not need a gel cleanser, you just need an oil-free one.
