If you heat mat isn’t getting the optimum temps in your viv, try upgrading it to a higher wattage mat which will create more heat within the tank but be sure to ALWAYS use a thermostat for any heating equipment you use – this will prevent burns and overheating.

Do you have a digital thermometer in the tank to ensure the hot and cool end temps are okay? If not, invest in one as it will be a godsend for you.

Also, you would not need to use botht he heat light and the heat mat – this is too much of a heat output for you leo – stick with one or the other
