I dont want to buy the clinique 3 step system just yet, i want to try their free samples but what does the sample look like?

Can I set up a normal contract with British Gas instead of using the swipe card?

We are just about to move into a new flat (privately rented) and there is gas boiler that must be operated with either a card or key (I haven’t even looked at it yet, any tips on what/where I’m looking would be gratefully appreciated). I hear that this is very expensive compared to paying by direct debit and so was wondering can I just set up a normal account with british gas or would this not be allowed because they want to rip me off with the stupid meter?

The cards are OK, about the size of a credit card. However re the acct with British gas, your landlord may not allow you to change the way that gas is supplied the property, and it would be his decision. The thinking behind this is that unscrupulous tenants (not that I’m saying you are) may run up huge bills prior to leaving a property, and make off without settling the bill.
