What setting do I set my travel hairdryer for in Israel?

I have Salon Series 1875 watt travel hair dryer. It has a setting for either 125 or 250. I just moved to Israel for a year and I don’t know what setting to use. Last time I was here I used a normal hairdryer with a electric converter and I practically blew the thing up. I’m trying to avoid that again. Any help?

If you have only the two settings you mentioned (not all that likely), then use 250.

Using the 125 V setting will likely burn out your appliance if you plug it into 230 volts.
